About this event

A hands-on evening where we build a custom CRM on Open Mercato, live, with a coding agent. Enterprise grade, not vibe coding: every step goes through a spec, a review and tests before it counts as built. Follow along in your browser or watch with a drink.

What we do

We open Open Mercato, an open-source system that arrives with a CRM already in it, and spend the evening turning it into one shaped for a specific company. You write the spec, the agents build against it.

First we walk what the system already does, by clicking. That part ends with a customer accepting a quote in their own browser while the order appears behind them.

The company we use tonight gets enquiries by email with technical parameters, and someone retypes them into a spreadsheet to get a price out. We build that piece in the room, and then we get into what makes an agent build well and what you still check yourself.

What Open Mercato is

An open-source foundation for business systems, MIT-licensed, with 48 modules in the core. They opened the agent tooling too: skills, the harness around them, and Cezar, their cockpit for running coding agents. That is what turns a written business spec into working screens.

What you need

Nothing, if you came to watch. Every seat gets a hosted Open Mercato sandbox, so there is no install and no setup. A six year old laptop is enough. You do not need to know how to code.

You leave with the spec you wrote and the code that came out of it.

Wednesday 11 November at La Serra, Rua João de Oliveira Miguens 1, next to LX Factory. Doors 18:30, we start 19:00, done by 20:25, drinks until 23:00.
