The session explores how to identify the right timing for expansion, select the most suitable market entry model, and navigate key considerations across corporate structuring, tax planning, talent acquisition, and establishing a local presence.

Attendees will also dive into legal and tax fundamentals, international mobility and visa requirements, and a practical step-by-step framework to fully prepare their business for sustainable growth in the United States.

The session will be led by Marcelo Carrullo and Maikon Luiz.

Marcelo is Managing Partner at Drummond Ventures,where he leads the firm's Venture Investment division focused on the Brazil-US corridor alongside growth, M&A, and business strategy, bringing extensive international private equity, corporate finance, and cross-border structuring experience. Joining him is Maikon Luiz, USA Coordinator at Drummond CPA, an accounting and tax specialist with 17 years of experience in external audit and accounting consultancies, who currently leads teams dedicated to supporting U.S. and offshore corporate entities across international tax and accounting standards.
