About this event

Start your Web Summit morning on the padel court.

Padel Encounters brings together founders, VCs, managers and other motivated minds for a sporty start to the day. No pitches. No crowded hotel breakfast buffet. Just a court, a good game and great people, before the conference day begins.

Courts are matched by level and we switch partners after each set, so you’ll play with and against several new faces. Real conversations come naturally after a good rally.

Regular player or picking up a racket for the first time? Everyone’s welcome. Beginners play together, and I’ll give you a few tips to get you going.

When: 8:00–10:00. Play until 9:30, and stay on court until 10:00 if you’re not done yet.Where: revealed after registration, close to the Web Summit venueIncluded: court, rackets and balls, showers, coffee and breakfast

Spots are curated to get the right mix on every court. Apply now and you’ll hear from us within 48 hours.
